The Police Officers' and Firefighters' Trubute Plaza is located in front of the Municipal Building at City Hall.
It was completed in 2005 for a total cost of $800,000.

Prairie Winds Park
Prairie Winds Park is located along Castleridge Drive, east of 52nd Street NE. Completed in 1990 for a total cost of $4,500,000.00, Parks Foundation Calgary and Northeast Regional Park Committee worked together to create this 45 acre family park located in the neighbourhood of Castleridge. The park boasts a spray pool for children, tennis courts, a man made creek, soccer field, baseball diamond, giant sand box, picnic tables and shelters. It is a well treed park with a fabulous tobogganing hill in the west end and excellent cross-country skill trails in the winter.

Rouleauville Square
Rouleauville Square is located along 18th Avenue and 1st SW. In partnership with the Catholic Church, Parks Foundation Calgary completed this park in 1996.
Rouleauville Square consists of 12 panels which explain the history and significance of the site. The square is the former site of the Village of Rouleauville that was incorporated in 1899. The village was founded by respected community leaders the Rouleau brothers and was located in the heart of what was Calgary’s French Catholic Mission district.

Shaw Millenium Park
Shaw Millennium Park was Calgary’s major Millennium project. It provides an enduring, living legacy for citizens of Calgary as a result of the celebration and recognition of the Year 2000 and the new millennium. This 10 acre park is on the site of the old Mewata Stadium and immediately west of the historic Mewata Armories. Shaw Millennium Park is now a world class youth facility, providing our youth with a place to enjoy their activities, including in-line skating, skateboarding, basketball and volleyball. The combination of the park’s size and scale rank it among the top skate parks of the world and includes an expert and beginners skate park, a central skate park, an inline skating court and a pedestrian bridge. The Millennium Landmark building is the only permanent laser facility in Canada.
The park is located on 11th Street SW between 9th Avenue and Bow Trail and was completed in 2000
$8,500,000.00 were raised to make this park a reality through partnership between Parks Foundation Calgary, City of Calgary 2000 and the Millennium Committee

Valleyview Regional Park
Valleyview park is truly a gem. Located at 28th St. and 30 Ave. SE, it is an ideal day gettaway for Calgarians. The park boasts picnic areas, volleyball courts, a baseball diamond, 2 soccer pitches, a water park as well as natural areas and engineered wetlands. Long time Dover resident George Trotter in partnership with Parks Foundation Calgary and the City of Calgary, raised the $5,000,000.00 needed to create this incredible family park. Valleyview Regional Park was opened in 2003.
