All Calgarians deserve safe, interactive, and fun outdoor spaces to play and build connections. Parks Foundation Calgary created the Building Communities (BC) Program with this vision in mind and has been supporting it since 2009.
Our goal is to inspire community leaders to create change
and build capacity within our Calgary communities.
To celebrate the efforts of community volunteers and their vision for a better community, Parks Foundation Calgary is excited to announce a special funding round! With the support of Pembina Pipeline Corporation we’re pleased to announce the ENERGIZE AWARDS, providing $50,000 to support community projects, to be awarded this September at ParksFest. This fun-filled, family event will invite people from every quadrant to learn about ten community-led projects and vote for their three favourites.
