In honour of Ken King, a sports enthusiast, businessman, mentor, leader and trusted friend.

Parks Foundation, along with our partners, has opened two new pickleball courts located in Sandy Beach Park. The space also offers a unique accessible play area with snakes and ladders and hopscotch.

Pickleball is a popular racquet sport designed to be played by all ages and can be enjoyed recreationally or competitively. Pickleball is often played by 2 to 4 people using paddles and a hollow plastic ball, which makes it a fun and easy game to learn and play with others.
