Martin Family Pump Track & Skatepark
In 2023, we proudly partnered with YCC – Youth Centres of Calgary to revitalize George Moss Park, a vibrant gathering space in the heart of Ogden. The redevelopment introduced inviting seating areas, a community plaza, basketball courts, and lush green spaces—creating the perfect setting for neighbors to connect and enjoy the outdoors.
Now, we're taking George Moss Park to the next level! With construction underway, this exciting new phase will feature Calgary’s first-ever pump track and skatepark designed for skateboarders, bikers, and wheelers of all ages and skill levels! This one-of-a-kind addition will provide a safe, inclusive space to ride, play, and build community. This project will also involve relocating and upgrading an existing ball diamond to enhance its functionality. Combined with the enhancements completed in 2024, George Moss Park is evolving into a true sports hub—one that will inspire active living for years to come.

How a Pump Track Works
Groundbreaking Announcement
Last year, we completed the first phase of the George Moss Park project, introducing features like basketball courts, a tot lot playground, community plaza, seating area, and generous green spaces.
In July 2025, we took things even further as we announced that development of Calgary’s first-ever combined pump track and skatepark!
Along with the relocation and upgrading of the existing ball diamond, these enhancements will transform George Moss Park into a unique sports hub.
Construction Progress
Even with a couple of rainy summer months, we are still aiming to complete the project in fall/winter this year.
