Calgary’s first fully dedicated outdoor music garden in South Glenmore Park

Completed in 2020, Quinterra Legacy Garden to honour Lawrence, Joshua, Kaiti, Zackariah, and Jordan, five inspiring young adults whose lives were tragically lost on April 15, 2014 in the quiet suburban neighbourhood of Brentwood in Calgary. Their five families came together in partnership with Parks Foundation to create a project that will give back to the community and acknowledge the incredible support received after losing their children and let others know that beyond tragedy and loss, there is light.

Quinterra Legacy Garden is an interactive musical garden and performance space that reflects hope, possibility, creativity and the life-affirming qualities that each of these five amazing young adults embodied. Located in South Glenmore Park, this amenity is Calgary’s first fully dedicated music garden and performance space. It is accessible to Calgarian’s of all ages and includes interactive musical and play elements. Visitors to the garden will feel a sense of discovery and play, inspiration, creativity, reflection, contemplation and a sense of well-being.
