This one day workshop is designed for community leaders and organizations interested in developing new community park projects in our city.
The goal is to provide you with information, resources, ideas and tools to guide you through every step of a community project. The workshop will have 4 information sessions, a keynote lunch speaker, and will wrap up the day with a networking social. This workshop will provide an opportunity to connect with community members and exchange ideas and experiences.

Keynote Speaker - Moraig McCabe
Biomedical scientist turned community “imaginist” (like an activist, but with sprinkles), Moraig tackles a challenge head on and does whatever it takes to make good things happen for her community. She is passionate about transit (#LRTOTG), creating more playful public spaces (#CreatingCoventry & #GenHPlay), resident co-creation, and cake. Never forget the cake.
