Haultain Park Revitalization
Parks Foundation, along with our partners, is transforming Haultain Park into a multiuse space that honours its historical significance while enhancing its role as a vibrant hub in Beltline. This revitalization will equip the park with modern amenities, improve green spaces, and create a more inviting environment in the heart of the city.
For many in the community, Haultain Park is one of the few nearby spaces where they can enjoy nature, stay active, and connect with others. This project will ensure the park remains an accessible and engaging destination by incorporating new recreation areas, gathering spaces, and expanded greenery to enhance urban biodiversity. Enhanced tree planting will provide much-needed shade, contributing to the city's tree canopy while making the park more comfortable year-round.
The revitalization will also feature historical interpretive signage and custom design elements that reflect its past. By weaving heritage into modern public space, the project will create an immersive experience that strengthens community identity and fosters deeper connections between people and place.
