A UNIQUE BIKING AMENITY, A FREE TO USE BICYCLE PUMP TRACK THAT WILL HELP MEET THE DEMANDS OF THIS AMAZING SPORT.

The South Glenmore Bicycle Pump Track is a collaboration between the Calgary Mountain Bike Alliance, The City of Calgary and Parks Foundation Calgary. Whether you are trying mountain biking for the first time or you want to work on advanced skills, you are welcome here. Mountain biking is a sport that can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of age.

The progressive circuit uses an up and down ‘pumping’ motion to propel the bicycle forward instead of pedaling. Pump tracks are a perfect structure for practicing balance, learning skills and improving confidence on the bike.

The new park will also have plenty of seating, so it’s the perfect place for families to take a break and enjoy all that South Glenmore Park has to offer.

The South Glenmore Bicycle Pump Track is made up of two custom-designed asphalt tracks which are fun, flowing and challenging for riders. The smaller track is designed for kids and beginner riders, it is 110 meters long with 7 berms and 19 rollers (when entering the park this track is on the right). The larger track is 204 meters long and has a more challenging terrain, with 8 bermed corners and 27 roller jumps (this track is on the left from the entry point).
