Construction of a new downtown sport court is complete!

In partnership with The City of Calgary, Parks Foundation constructed a new sport court located in the northeast corner of Century Gardens in Downtown Calgary! This project was part of The City’s Downtown Strategy and 8th Street SW Revitalization project. The sport court has a unique circular court design that includes three half courts, designed to be used in a game of 3x3 basketball. The new sport amenity enhances the surrounding park and streetscape with opportunities for play, gathering and physical activity. Thank you to The City of Calgary and The Calgary Surge for their financial contributions to this wonderful new sport court.
