Parks Foundation is dedicated to ensuring everyone has a place to embrace their outdoor life. We work directly with communities to bring park and sport projects to life, so that all Calgarians have accessible, unique, recreational, sport and green spaces in their neighborhoods. This is why, in 2023, we partnered with the YCC-Youth Centres of Calgary for the redevelopment of George Moss Park. Located in the community of Ogden, the park includes seating, community plaza, basketball courts, and plenty of green space to connect with fellow community goers.

Thanks to the support of a generous donor, we are now building the next phase of George Moss Park! Construction will begin in 2025 on this new phase which will feature a one-of-a-kind pump track and skatepark - the first of its kind in Calgary! This new addition to the park will create a safe, welcoming space for skateboarders and bikers of all ages and abilities while adding to the original work completed in 2024 to create a true sports hub for the community.
